Janice is a regular reader for the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service, providing thousands of people throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario who are blind or have a print disability, with daily access to a variety of print publications.

Whether you’re looking to instill confidence, better mental health, or hope and inspiration in staff, students, members or volunteers, Janice is always ready to help others help themselves.

Birthed Out Of 84

A Note from Janice

Janice and her three siblings grew up in Buffalo’s Genesee and East Ferry neighborhood.

“It was a dream house—a sweet bungalow with a backyard for cookouts and parties, and it was just the right fit for our family,” Janice says. “Everything that I'm currently doing has been birthed out of 84. It’s where all the ideas for my book, my merchandise and my public speaking career were born. We’re all being birthed. We're all moving forward. I hope I can help you move forward, too.

“I was fortunate to grow up with a mother who always encouraged me, which increased my faith and confidence. Now I’m helping others do the same. My mom has the strength of an eagle and is the wind beneath my wings. Scripture became her comfort and today, she’s our beloved matriarch who continues to bless our family with an abundance of prayer, faith, and guts.”
